Brandon Lee
Looper Soloist Australian Jazz Artist
JAZZ GUITARIST / MUSIC PRODUCER / EDUCATOR
BIO
Brandon Lee, professionally known as Jazzy Brissy, is a dynamic solo artist renowned for creating the full sound of a live band using loop pedals and live instrumentation. Performing exclusively with a hollow body archtop guitar, he explores a wide spectrum of jazz-rooted styles including bebop, soul, R&B, funk, and Latin music.
Lee is distinguished by his commitment to 100% live performance—eschewing pre-recorded tracks in favor of real-time arrangement and improvisation. His music stands out for its minimalist yet expressive approach to accompaniment, inventive use of electronic equipment, and the expansive emotional and sonic range he achieves as a solo performer.
Through his innovative techniques and artistic experiments, Brandon challenges traditional notions of live performance, offering a more intensive and efficient model of musical expression. His work not only paves the way for future trailblazers in the genre but also empowers fellow musicians—encouraging self-expression, artistic leadership, and imaginative growth born from lived experience.
